This is what happens when you let murderers and war criminals rule the country.

Senior journalist of a national daily newspaper, should have taught his son to respect others especially those having to uphold the law in this society where using HR is misused.

Well done. The Police need to be able to ignore such petty matters and cope with their jobs. All these Officers need to be interdicted as they appear simply to be unable to cope with extremely minor incidents. Let us hope they will be suspended at least for a substantial period AND FINED a significant amount too. MM

We are fooling ourselves if we appear shocked by this incident. Violence and sadistic brutality has always been part of the Sri Lankan Police culture. 99% of Policemen and Policewomen are recruited from very low social classes, suddenly they enjoy so much power after growing up in squalid conditions and very little money.

It is not a surprise the POLICE officers using obscene languages and/or abuse innocent people as it is their MOTTO, they cannot live without that very practice.

Just hooting is not enough to become a politician and rule the country.
