Leaders of political parties representing Parliament are to decide whether to release the CDs which containing phone conversations of MP Ranjan Ramanayake today.
Parliament sources said the party leaders will meet 2.00 pm today to decide on the matter.
It was reported earlier that Mr. Ramanayake had handed over one CD containing several of his conversations to the House during the last Parliamentary week.
The UNP MP on Wednesday requested Speaker Karu Jayasuriya to release the CDs to the MPs so that they would get to know the actual conversations which Mr. Ramanayake has had with many persons including himself, judicial officers and others.
The Speaker assured that the matter will be referred to the party leaders. (Yohan Perera and Ajith Siriwardana)
