These 3 persons who are non-Buddhists must be thinking they can get Buddhist votes by visiting this person who is an insult to the Buddhists

Politicians have short memories - note the ethnic composition of the three. This is being well orchestrated by others for the final pardon

Very soon the following statement will become case law. "Any one in yellow attire who misbehaves in court, and is sentenced on contempt of court charges, can be granted pardon."

Ravi Senanayake Saturday, 23 February 2019 08:50 AM
He was imprisoned because he violated the law and acted as a bigot. Being a Buddhist leader doesn't mean he is to be a bigot and bully other religions. Show people why they should follow buddhism

All three should have been retained by the Prisons. And thereafter sent for a mental check-up.

I think we all know why he is in prison ...that point doesn't need to be discussed. He was a very naughty boy ,and is being punished for his misdeeds .
Lord Wolfstein Saturday, 23 February 2019 01:52 PM
It is an insult to Buddhism to address this convicted criminal as a Venerable Thera.

Racism, Religious intolerance has no place in any religion and so monks like Ven. Gnanasara, has no place in Buddhism.

why are the politicians still kissing this mans ass?
Craig Sunday, 24 February 2019 06:38 AM
I guess the drugs have run out after the arrest in dubai, so the UNP now probably started dealing from the devils within the prison itself
Perumal Sunday, 24 February 2019 09:06 AM
If he knows why he was imprisoned, then he has learnt a lesson. That is enough for the time being.
