UPFA Southern Provincial Council member Krishantha Pushpakumara, alias ‘Raththaran’, said that he has decided to resign from the post.
The Councillor was arrested by the Akmeemana Police and was released on bail by the Galle Magistrate’s Court on February 28, for the alleged abused of a 16-year-old girl in Akmeemana.
The Councillor said the decision was taken in order to facilitate the ongoing probe against him.

There is no resignation. These political thugs should be put behind bars for life.

Have people noticed that most of the underworld thugs are from the UPFA and SLPP. In the 80's almost all the thugs were UNP. For example 'Soththi Upali'.
