Former MPs Kumara Welgama and Jathika Hela Urumaya (JHU) Leader Patali Champika Ranawaka filed a petition in the Supreme Court today challenging the Gazette notification issued by the Elections Commission declaring the General Elections on June 20. The petitioners also challenged the Gazette notification issued on the dissolution of Parliament. (Yoshitha Perera)
