Taking pre-emptive steps by having RATS in force instead of taking decisions based on people affected with Covid is not the way forward to controlling this virus and what we need is a mindset change in prioritizing the tools in Prevention

Looks like they’ve decided they are only going to save the colombo district and the rest of the country can go climb a tree. They vaccinated only the western province and now this, while there are alarming increases all over the island.

How does this work. They cannot check every single person. They may stop a bus and check three people at random. Are all the other passengers kept waiting till the test results are known. If a person driving a car is stopped and tested positive he would be taken away. What happens to his vehicle. Parked by the wayside till the owners come back 14 days later to claim it ?
