I have no sympathy towards these thugs. There was a court order preventing any protests. RESPECT THE LAW On this case I will take the side of cops. They all should be rounded up and put in jail for ignorance of a court order. Namal is still thinking his farther is in-charge.

Police are taking action only because the ASP was caught in the video,the hilarity is all those policemen investigating this ASP are themselves practioners of violence against the civilians. We need a new agency to police the police.

Even a thug who has committed a worst crime such as a murder can not be assaulted when he has surrendered or in custody of law enforcing authority.This Asp should be arrested and remanded immediately.

This police officer must undergo a fitness test as well. Afterslapping the youth he looked very very tired.Seems not enough fit for his post. Meditation is not only enough to become a good policeman .These officers must be adviced to run good 500 mts daily and be fit enough to remain in their post. Then we will have a very good police unit and be proud of.

The officer is wrong but he did this job at a time when the entire JO thugs were violently protesting. In my personal opinion, he should be promoted to a bigger rank. video won't show what transpired between the officers and the culprit. Perhaps the culprit might have abused them in filth in order to make the officers angry and that will ensure the political benefit to those who deified the court order.

Just put yourself in the Policeman's boots and think what would you might do in such a situation, and then criticize. What he has done was not correct and cannot be justified. But then how many of you would keep silent when you are under stress trying to control bunch of thugs under influence of liquor, being stoned and when someone uses raw filth on you while you are doing only your job? I am sure there are people in our society who are with high tolerance levels, but majority, I am not sure.
