A prison guard attached to the Colombo Remand Prison had been arrested with 94 grammes of heroin in Borella last night.

Police said the Western Province (North) Crimes Division officers arrested the suspect following a tip-off.

The 49-year-old prison guard, a resident of Sirisara Uyana in Borella would be produced in the Maligakanda Magistrate's Court today.
