A five-member commission headed by Court of Appeal Judge Janak de Silva has been appointed by President Maithripala Sirisena to probe the Easter Sunday attacks.
The commission included Court of Appeal Judge Nissanka Bandula Karunaratne, retired Court of Appeal Judge Nihal Sunil Rajapaksa, retired High Court Judge Atapattu Liyanage Bandula Kumara Atapattu and retired Ministry Secretary W. M. M. Adhikari.
The President has issued an extraordinary gazette notification yesterday announcing the appointment of the commission.
