The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) has secured four seats in the Polonnaruwa District garnering a total of 180,847 votes while the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) has secured one seat with a total of 47,181 votes.
The Jathika Jana Balawegaya (JJB) led by the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) garnered 6,792 votes but failed to secure a seat. The UNP also failed to secure a seat.
