Podi Lassie further remanded

Janith Madushanka De Silva alias 'Podi Lassie', who is in prison, was further remanded till October 9 by Galle Chief Magistrate Harshana Kekulawela today.

The Magistrate earlier named Podi Lassie as the second suspect of the case in which death threats were made on Government officials including the President, the Defence Secretary and Prison officials. (D.G.Sugathapala)
