The Police today released a photograph of a suspect wanted in connection with an alleged fraud of Rs. 4.3 million.
The Police said the suspect, Saman Kumara Jayasinghe, a resident of Tangalle, was allegedly defrauded monies from several individuals across the country promising that he would import motor cars.
The Colombo Fraud Investigation Bureau (CFIB) launched the investigation following a complaint.
The Police requested the public to inform the Director, Fraud Investigation Bureau on 0112679593, or OIC Fraud Investigation Bureau on 0112673571 or 0112673954.
