Prices of a litre of Petrol (95) would be increased by Rs.2 while a litre of Super Diesel would be increased by one rupee with effect from midnight today, based on the monthly fuel revision formula, Finance Minister Mangala Samaraweera announced.
Accordingly, a litre of Petrol would be sold at Rs.157 and Super Diesel at Rs.130 until the next fuel revision on September 10. (Sheain Fernandopulle)

This buggers are hell bent only in increasing and adding more burdens to the public. These parasites get all free therefore they are just imposing all levies to the general public. What is the big idea of having a govt if the only thing they could do is to dump everything on its people's head.

The new pricing strategy is a complete flop, the government has not taken into consideration the prices of other services or goods that increase with fuel prices. Even if the fuel prices drop, the prices of these products or services would remain the same and will keep on increasing.
