The Lotus Tower which was officially declared open by President Maithripala Sirisena this evening would be opened for the public from next week, the President’s Media Division (PMD) said.

China has installed sophisticated monitoring equipment on top and within Lotus tower for monitoring Indian communications. This with Sri Lankas connivance. Lotus tower will be the first target in event of conflict between India and China
