The Parliament would be dissolved tomorrow midnight, Minister Prasanna Ranatunga said today.

"A new Government with a two-thirds majority should be elected at the General Election. It is only then can a constitutional amendment be made to save the country," he said.

He made this remark at a meeting of the Minuwangoda Sri Lanka Peoples Front Teachers Association held in Udugampola.

He said the country couldn’t be developed if the President and Prime Minister were not elected from the same political party.

“A stable Government could only be formed if both of them are from the same party,” he said.

They have expired items and cannot be marketed. So, the new slogan is Constitutional Amendment. Once it is changed nothing can stop the progress of our beloved country.

It will be disolved. A new Parliament will assemble soon with same old set but with new masks. The country and the people will.be in the same old place stranded.

The Rajapakse Clan wants two thirds majority to establish Rajapakse Dynasty, for ever, so that they can do whatever they want, without any objection. If they are interested in Democracy, they should look only for a simple majority, and not a dictatorship.

Whip up racial tension by saying ' Sinhala Buddhist Country ' . You can get votes from the poor, illiterate masses. Fool them to your benefit.

2/3 majority to rob the country, left right and center. Further you admit that there won't be a PM from pohottuwa party. Nice to hear from you.
