If one of the Norochcholai Coal Power Plant’s is operational by tomorrow there would be no need for power cuts, the Power and Energy Ministry said.
Ministry Media Secretary Pathum Paskuwel said the first part of the power plant would probably be back on track by tomorrow adding 300 MW of electricity to the national grid.
The boiler system of the plant has commenced operations and should be back to normal tomorrow. (Chaturanga Pradeep)
