Power and Renewable Energy Minister Ranjith Siyambalapitiya today assured that there will be no more power cuts from today as the Norochcholai power plant is fully operational as usual.
He said 600 MW is added to the national grid with the resuming operations of the second and third stages of the Norochcholai coal power plant.
The Minister said he would inform parliament about the power outage on March 23 and that he would submit some proposals to prevent such incidents in the future. (Chaturanga Pradeep)
