Debate on the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe began and MP Dinesh Gunawardena presented the no-confidence motion a short while ago to Parliament.

    If the NCM is defeated , Mr. president you will have to resign. You brought so much doubt followed my indecisiveness that you held an entire nation hostage as you decided to play politics with the backing of a TV station.
