Nearly 30,000 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests have been conducted in Sri Lanka as of May 5 with 1,396 tests conducted yesterday, Health Promotion Bureau (HPB) said.
According to the statistics of the HPB, a total of 29,283 PCR tests have been conducted since February 18 as of yesterday.
The statistics show that over 1,000 tests have been conducted daily from April 26 and the highest number of PCR tests (1869) conducted on April 27.
