The Navy today denied several news reports posted on several social media outlets and news websites that the Navy had temporarily withdrawn from Covid-19 operations.
“The Sri Lanka Navy has not withdrawn from any operations which we engage in the National Mechanism on prevention of Covid-19. Sri Lanka Navy continues to engage in those operations with the maximum efforts," SLN said in a statement.
The SLN said it would take legal action against such individuals and institutes which posted false reports.
