Joint Opposition MP Namal Rajapaksa arrived at the Hambantota Police today after he was summoned over the protest which was held in Hambantota, MP D. V. Chanaka said.
The protest was held last Friday against the leasing out of Mattala International Airport to India. During the protest, 18 people were arrested by the police on charges of behaving in an unruly manner.
MP Chanaka told Daily Mirror that police had asked MP Prasanna Ranaweera and himself to report to the police tomorrow morning.
