HUGO u r correct much to be done by UK to compensate srilanka for all, British regime Plundered from PROSPEROUS Srilanka, during British regime. U guys sucked every thing from our land and this is the time to give them back. i don't think u can complete compensating in many years when u calculate the amount of wealth and lives u guys destroyed during the bloody regime. before pointing the fingers to other countries pl. stand in front of a mirror and question yourself what u guys have done to the world. nothing other than sucking the wealth from smaller countries.

The rights of those who were displaced by the LTTE from the north and east are never mentioned when "rights" are referred to by the U.K., U.S. etc. as well as the GOSL. When will the media bring this to their attention? There can be no "reconciliation" unless all those affected the the LTTE terrorism are addressed "EQUALLY".
