More than 13 SLFP MPs to vote in favour

More than 13 SLFP MPs and Ministers today said they will vote in favour of the No-Confidence Motion against Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.

The Ministers said they have decided to vote in favor of the motion as they have no faith in the Prime Minister. Also they said they have made this decision in accordance with conscience. (Yohan Perera and Ajith Siriwardana)

    According to their conscience? My foot. Most of the guys in the parliament we had elected do not have any conscience or any ethics at all. The only conscience they have is in their purses.

    Those Ministers of the SLFP/UPFA must resign their ministerial portfolios if they have even iota of self-respect and dignity. How can they face the PM after the ignominious defeat of the NCM. These humbugs should not have the best of both the worlds. Enjoy the salary and perks office, but stab the Prime Minister on the side.
