Sir, you have slapped and beaten almost all your Ministers and Deputy Ministers except GL Pieris. Correct?
Nandini Thursday, 31 August 2017 09:10 PM
With grade 8 qualification he achieved quite a lot. Except for corruption and nepotism, MR regime contributed to lots of development.
david strange Friday, 01 September 2017 09:13 AM
with lots of money in the pocket for mama too
Mohan Friday, 01 September 2017 10:01 AM
But, he is a racist who banned singing of the national anthem in tamil. Racism is more damaging to the country than lack of development.
kukula Friday, 01 September 2017 10:03 AM
True, he contributed to lots of development, But with commissions beyond un imaginable sums.
Bubble Banda Friday, 01 September 2017 10:16 AM
For looting and cheating - no need any qualifications Nandini.
J. Palitha Friday, 01 September 2017 10:19 AM
For development MR spent 50% and for his family pockets he reserved 50% from all the projects.
Samson Samarasinghe Friday, 01 September 2017 10:21 AM
Shall we invite Chandrika and Mahinda to a common stage to deliver a speech in English? Then we will know who is educated and who has Grade 8 qualification.
hcvl Friday, 01 September 2017 11:16 AM
Ability to speak English is not a measurement of education/smartness
rew Friday, 01 September 2017 12:11 PM
Get rid of JO and SL will prosper.
Jaliya Tuesday, 05 September 2017 09:26 AM
I think you need education about "DEVELOPMENT" is he done any construction ? "YES"Development ? "NO"
Sudhu Thursday, 31 August 2017 09:13 PM
Chandrika should maintain her dignity by placing a padlock in her mouth
Desmond Jeromme Friday, 01 September 2017 10:15 AM
Hay, all what Chandrika speaks is the truth man as she knows the history of Rajapakshe.
Dasa Thursday, 31 August 2017 10:06 PM
There is no argument that both of these presidents have education that exceeds grade 8 level. Problem in this country is there are highly educated people in this country that do not have good morale and vise versa.

A WELL EDUCATED PERSON SHOULD POSSESS GOOD QUALITIES TOLERANCETRUST WORTHY NESS AND KINDNEES OTHER THAN HIS OR HER PAPPER QUALIFICATION. via DM Android App
Nana Monday, 04 September 2017 08:52 PM
I am afraid Modern Education provides that other than skills, Certificates
Redna Thursday, 31 August 2017 10:21 PM
We all know that Chandrika's mouth did not have brakes. But she was able to hold her own against any foreign leader. She had her faults but yet she was dignified. She was not a cheap rogue like MaRa. In the case of MaRa and his children, although they went to school, they were only street thugs, rogues and womanisers. If only MaRa really had the knowledge of a lawyer, he wouldn't have behaved the way he did.
TONY Thursday, 31 August 2017 10:38 PM
CBK IS AGING BUT ARE YOU NOT. HOW STRANGE?

CBK should give up drinking too much whiskey
dulan Friday, 01 September 2017 08:28 AM
These are the Presidents we have had!
Sanje Friday, 01 September 2017 08:31 AM
In this situation MR (up to grade 8) won full points. As Usual CBK (French Uni) lost everything.
Ravi Friday, 01 September 2017 08:58 AM
No doubt about it definitely you must have been behind Gamini's death.
gamini Friday, 01 September 2017 09:03 AM
what ever the qualifications, MR behaves like an uneducated low street thug
Dr. A.C.B. Jayaweera Friday, 01 September 2017 09:51 AM
Mahinda don't hide the truth please... you and your family members were using political power and wealth power and threw money and got big educational qualifications after their names.
Prof. Shelton Senanayake Friday, 01 September 2017 09:54 AM
Mr. Mahinda, those days you were only acting tele-dramas and loafing... that's I know. Honestly, did you get through SSC or GCE O/L?
S.T.M. Jabeer (Attorney-at-Law) Friday, 01 September 2017 09:57 AM
I don't know about MR's qualifications, but I know about Namal how he became a bogus lawyer. MR as President, arranged him to sit for the law exam in a separate glass room where only Namal sat and copied the pre-arranged answers and got through and got a bogus certificate.
R.T. Perera (Lawyer) Friday, 01 September 2017 10:00 AM
Madam Chandrika ofcourse well educated and fluent in English, but Mahinda, even he started talking English after becoming the President normally he writes English in Sinhala and read it, that I know pretty well.
Devaka Weeraratne Friday, 01 September 2017 03:57 PM
Mahinda started employment as a llibrary attendent at Vidyodaya University with grade 8 qualifications through political influence, and ended up as a library assistanr under Dr Dorakumura, the Lirarian. That is where he stands.
Dennis Reeves Friday, 01 September 2017 10:03 AM
Ok Mr. Mahinda please tell me - did Namal get through his GCE (O/L) and whether he could speak in English? How could he become a Lawyer without English?
Sam Sunday, 03 September 2017 11:42 PM
Did his 2nd son have maths grade to join Navy?
L.P. Mendis Friday, 01 September 2017 10:05 AM
Chandrika was an Iron Lady as because she came from a decent family, but you Mr. Mahinda Rajapakshe?????
Kiris Baba Amaray Friday, 01 September 2017 10:07 AM
I know well that you brought thugs from Matara and murdered a person close to Nectar Café (Colombo. 1), such people do you think are educated?

Chandrika Invented act based on Hate and MR patented it .Our politicians act like rabbits when they are in opposition and act like dictators when they are in power !
Ajith Friday, 01 September 2017 12:27 PM
Well said Sir. One who hates ones education is the most uneducated. All citizens of SL are aware that you have not even sighted Sorbonne Uni but was enrolled in a school similar to that name. No educated [person will talk about other peoples knowledge or qualifications.

Hi. Meyala....Bye MR.
Liswom Friday, 01 September 2017 02:33 PM
We know how you became an.Attorney at Law. You have to thank Felix who brought an amamendment to Law College entrace in early seventies where any parliamentarian below 30 years can gain auto admission irrespective of theor educational qualification. Even 5th standard would suffice. Don't think we have short memories like you.
Amarakoon Friday, 01 September 2017 02:55 PM
I know an educated Rajapakse. MR's younger brother Dudly Rajapakse studied at Ananda, passed ALs, went to Russia and got an Msc in Agriculture, Got a Phd in USA and now working for NASA as an Engineer! So, Madam Chandrika is wrong to make that statement.
CITIZEN Friday, 01 September 2017 03:27 PM
THIS IS MAHINDA RAJAPAKSE REBORN! Perhaps, reborn a man!!
RALPH Friday, 01 September 2017 03:42 PM
Even Supreme Court did not question your son's qualifications when taking oaths although it was public knowledge he was having a "GL Pieris Degree"!!!
Nirmalath Friday, 01 September 2017 03:51 PM
Look who's talking. A person with an immense craving for worldly things and failure to let go of those and clinging to power, criticize another. He has forgotten the rotten things he had done to Madam. Please follow the footprints of Lord Buddha, and retire to your home and live the rest of your life happily.
Dhammika Friday, 01 September 2017 03:52 PM
MR should be grateful that CBK gave the nominations to contest the presidential elections with relactantnes.
parakum Friday, 01 September 2017 04:19 PM
Re:hatred and jealousy, SWRD left the UNP because he had "hatred and jealousy" with the well to do UNP supporters, first thing he did was to Nationalise the Private Bus companies (see what a burden it has become to the Tax Payers today). The party he formed has been a KODIVINAYAK to this country. One can see what 'hatred and jealousy" he has implemented in the mind of SLFPers they cannot even work together for the GOOD of the Nation. Only if Banda had the patience to wait for his turn to become the premier this country would have surpassed the SINGAPORE.
Naga Ramalingam Friday, 01 September 2017 06:53 PM
Was she normal or intoxicated when she said that? She is the one who schemed with Ranil and Sirisena to sell out SLFP which her father started.
meloney Friday, 01 September 2017 09:18 PM
MR I don't think the person behind has passed even grade 5. That age he was busy with something else.
guy Saturday, 02 September 2017 11:24 AM
Dear Readers,Do not get every leader coming to power talk a about country development neither mainly road construction or carpet roads for BIG money earning purpose. But our past professional high cast distinguish leaders never talk this type of development other than human welfare. SO COUNTRY NATION HAS TO THINK HARD WEATHER WE WANTED CONSTRUCTION DEVELOPMENT OR AGRICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT BECAUSE I VOTE ONLY FOR AGRICULTURAL COUNTRY. OVER TO BELOVED CITIZENS.
Jason Saturday, 02 September 2017 03:42 PM
We all know how the political elite of this country pay to obtain admissions for their children in IV league colleges of the US and the best universities of London. To me, both the Rajapaksas and Bandarnaikes lack integrity. It is like the pot calling the kettle black. Both were born with a silver spoon in their mouth. Both have had their fair share of this wonderful country of ours. Time to cast these political dynasties aside.
sathyayaa Tuesday, 05 September 2017 11:34 PM
Is that all what you have to say Mahinda? I havene't forgotten the "words" that you used to attack Chandrika verbally in Galle when she tried to use your stage to address people who had been your follows in the march from Colombo to Katharagama when the UNP was in Power. What is the moral justification of that unethical conduct by that time? Are you now more civilized or have lost all good qualities what you had once?
