A suspect has been arrested with 10kg of heroin and Ice (methamphetamine) during a raid at a guest house in Gamsaba Junction in Nugegoda.
The narcotics substances has a street value of more than Rs. 100 million.
Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said the Police Organized Crimes Division seized over 5kg of heroin and over 5 kg of Ice drugs from the possession of the manager of the guest house.
He said the suspect would be detained for further questioning.(Darshana Sanjeewa Balasuriya)

Why are these advertised because nothing happens to the seized drugs. We would like to see these destroyed on the spot. If turmeric is destroyed why not drugs.
