Man arrested for intruding into President’s house

A man who tried to intrude into the President’s house was arrested this morning by the security personnel on duty at the check point, Police said.

They said the suspect was identified as a former Urban Council member.

He had claimed that he wanted to meet the president to obtain an employment.

He was arrested by security personnel and later handed over to the Cinnamon Garden Police station. (Thilanka Kanakarathna)
