The Attorney General has submitted a further claim of Rs.100 Million totalling Rs.440 Million against the ship owners of oil tanker MT New Diamond, the Attorney General’s Coordinating Officer State Counsel Nishara Jayaratne said.
Earlier, the owners of crude oil tanker have informed Attorney General Dappula De Livera of their agreement to settle fully the interim claim of the government’s stakeholders for Rs.340.

Why argue on additional Rs100 million? AG specifically said Rs.330million is interim amount, but they would have to pay our expenses and take it away before major oil deep out,will cost it more for them
