Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa would make a statement in parliament tomorrow, the government said today.

Minister Susil Premajayantha said it was a tradition for any new Prime Minister to make a statement on the first day in parliament.

“However, Prime Minister Rajapaksa was not given the opportunity to speak in parliament today. Therefore, he will make his statement tomorrow,” he said. (Lahiru Pothmulla)

Tomorrow is better for him, for he will have more points and facts to speak.

He is not our prime minister and hence please do not refer to him as prime minister. It is illegal to refer him as prime minister as he has been appointed unconstitutionally.

Daily Mirror, please stop reporting MR as Prime Minister as he is not. Secondly, please stop referring to MS's faction as the Government as they are not.SC has voided President's decision. 122 MPs passed a NCM against MR successfully. So, the PM is RW as that is the previous status quo and so is the government.

Well you can keep dragging this thing quoting this and that. The reality is that it is evident without any reasonable doubt, no-one wants to go back to MR regime again. The writing is on the wall. It is just a matter of time now.It is about time you guys step aside, show some morals for a change, and be gracious in defeat too. Use your speech to resign gracefully. Either you make that decision or someone will make it for you soon. If you resign, you may score some marks for that leadership maturity when you reorganize yourselves as a party again.
