Kandy District SLPP MP Wasantha Yapa Bandara had been tested positive for Covid-19.

He becomes the 6th Parliamentarian to test positive after State Minister Dayasiri Jayasekara, MP Rauff Hakeem, Minister Vasudeva Nanayakkara, State Minister Piyal Nishantha and Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi.

    Sorry to hear that. In the same breath sorry to say that the way he behaves in the parliament gives a bad name to the group called Viyath maga.It clearly shows education alone is nothing. It is the way the people use the education that matters.
