US Ambassador to Sri Lanka Alaina B. Teplitz has met Speaker Karu Jayasuriya and discussed the importance of reconvening Parliament to put an end to the political crisis.

The ambassador said in a twitter message that these democratic institutions should serve the people of Sri Lanka and let the elected representatives have their say.

If you really want to know, she was in USA. She took over the duties as the US ambassador only couple of days ago, after presenting her credentials to our champion of democrazy .

She is one of the best US diplomats. What she did to Chinese involvement in Nepal is a classic example for her caliber. We're do not want to get caught in the Chinese scary debt trap any longer.

Our country lost disciplined statesmen.Present leaders cant even rule a Animal Farm or Poultry Farm,properly, because they give preference for their personal agenda more thananything.
