Largest haul of Heroin pills from Nepalis stomach

The Police Narcotic Bureau (PNB) at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) today removed the largest haul of swallowed heroin pills so far found, from a Nepali citizen.

A 41-year-old Nepali, who swallowed heroin 90 pills weigh around 800 grams was arrested by PNB officers when he arrived at the BIA from Dubai on Friday morning.

Police said that the haul worth over Rs. 9 million. The suspect is receiving in-house treatment under the protection of PNB officers. (Thilanka Kanakarathna)
