Identity card for street artistes within two weeks: Mustapha

Provincial Council and Local Government Ministry has decided to issue an identity card to the street artists who were self employed near the Viharamahadevi Park in Colombo within two weeks.

Provincial Council and Local Government Minister Faiszer Mustapha instructed Colombo Municipal Council Commissioner, V. K. Anura to take necessary steps to issue the identity cards within two weeks.

The decision was taken at a meeting with the street artists in Colombo this morning.

Representatives of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, Tourism Ministry and Ministry of Higher Education also attended the meeting.
