IUSF convener released on bail

The Inter University Students Federation (IUSF) convener Lahiru Weeraskara has been released on bail by the Colombo Fort Additional Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne today.

He was released on a surety bail of Rs.100,000 and ordered to avoid activities pertaining to public interest reasons.

He was sentenced be remanded on January 26 by Magistrate Jayaratne to till today. (Shehan Chamika Silva)
