HC serves indictments on Swiss Emb. official Garnier Banister

The Colombo High Court today served indictments against Swiss Embassy official Garnier Banister Francis on charges of making a fabricated statement to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) about an abduction by unidentified men.
Defendant Banister appeared before the Court when case was called today and the indictments filed by Attorney General (AG) was then handed over to her.
Accordingly, the Colombo High Court ordered the accused be released on bail and the case is set to be heard on June 4.
Earlier, the accused said, on November 25, 2019 five unidentified persons abducted her from the Cinnamon Gardens area in Colombo, threatened her with firearm, detained her for several hours and questioned about CID Inspector Nishantha Silva who fled the country.
Later, a case was filed by the AG against the accused, alleging that she had made a false complaint to the CID.(Yoshitha Perera)

Does anyone believe she gets a fair trial? Just ask yourselves why Mr. Silva fled the country. Sri Lanka is the laughing stock of the world when it comes to human rights, justice etc.

this case too created by Jewish global movement to insult and downgrade Sinhalese. I have seen article from Sri study circle who has friendship with Jews. I am not against it. I want point out something in that article. It says that European robed and raped Jews which is true and there issue with that claimed. But Jews do practices some of the staff they had faced when they have bad time in lanka for political reason. I originally endorsed Israel for two thing one is Israel capable keeping Indian out and Tamil out too. Second, I was hoping Sinhalese will learn from Jews and copy Jews military style and learn to stand on their own. however, Sinhalese did not learn nothing from them. I do not blame Israel or Jews for Sinhalese negativity. I do not like to insult anybody. I did it to Tamil because Tamil racist physical and verbal attack. But I felt bad later because it is not who I am.. All my childhood life I went through most horrible bullying. I was insulted as a child thousand time

Insult was part of bullying. I was helpless in all beautiful time which started at age 5. So, I did not want to do it to Tamil or Jews or anybody. Fighting a war straight or secret is another issue. It is everybody's right to self=defiance. Throughout war period, I read most pastime news. And I saw British were bullying Sri lanka like in colonial Time, but I did not expect Jews from US and Europe to do same thing. I originally sympathized with Jews and still do because I know exactly how somebody feel when they are physically attack of verbally attack base on discrimination. Tamil too , I accept their claim only if they did not attack anybody other than army. When I was child, my family was very poor. so i was discriminated by other children and harassed me thousand times. I have been attacked physically thousand time. Additionally, Crook

bottom line, Anybody can issue a threat to sri lanka. So it is Sinhalese duty to be united and take responsibility, build country and seek advanced weapons like nuclear weapons or have a massive intelligent agency and remove all racial groups out of the country.
