Ban wearing of all helmets while walking rather than trying to ban full face helmets while riding.

Enhance physical access controls to the Bank with metal detectors at the entrance as well effective security guards.

A more effective deterrent would be to place a security guard outside the bank. In this case the potential bank robber would have to first neutralize him which would give adequate warning to the personnel inside.

so you want to sacrifice an innocent life to protect the interest of the bank which is anyway covered by insurance ?
Vimal Carlos Wednesday, 18 April 2018 01:02 PM
Its more expensive to have a paid guard armed for 12 months than risk to get robbed and let the insurance pay for it.

Security guards are there to provide security and not to be sacrificial lambs. If one is naive to believe that insurance companies would underwrite continuous losses without steep increases in premia then they are mistaken.

So easy.one man show.where is security in this country.lawless of all the security authorities.

Security is there to open and close the main doors to public and especially to those who enter with full faced helmets. "Employed and paid for security work ... doing the doorman work" only finds in sri lanka.

Stealing a sri lankan bank is really easy. lack of security and zero preparation.

Very true...our PM has shown the way.when the central bank is robbed in broad daylight.. Other banks...just peanuts.

Trained personal from armed forces should be offered to state and private banks to provide security. This would bring in an income to the forces as well as strengthen the security of banks .
