A government MP conveyed his displeasure regarding Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi laying emphasis on the need to implement the 13th Amendment.
The Indian leader mentioned it in his virtual conference with Sri Lankan Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa.
Ruling party MP Gevidu Kumaratunga told a news conference today that it was regretted that India referred to a ‘United Sri Lanka’.
He said the 13th Amendment was nothing but something implemented under duress by India. (Kelum Bandara)

Don't blame them. Our then president promised them not just 13 but 13 . These cannot be taken as broken election promises when making promises to a foreign country.
