Former Crime OIC of the Narahenpita Police, IP Sumith Champika who was arrested by the Crime Investigation Department (CID) yesterday, was remanded till May 5 by Colombo additional Magistrate Thilina Gamage today.
The IP was arrested on charges of covering up the investigations of Ruggerite Wasim Thajudeen’s murder.

you are right Sara. Just imagine what is going through byThaj's family every time they see these news. Bring the other two police officers one retired one still in cid. Start the process. Enough is enough. If the investigation is not over do it while they were in custody.
