Fire in Pettah

A fire broke out in a shop located at Prince Street in Pettah a short while ago, Police said.

They said the fire had erupted on the second floor of a six-storey building.

Several fire-fighting trucks have been deployed to douse the fire, Fire Brigade officials said.
