Eight more Covid-19 deaths were reported today increasing the death toll in the country to 240, the Government Information Department said.
Accordingly, six males aged 52, 61, 45, 51, 67, 57 and two females aged 36, 70 are among the deceased.
The victims are residents of Rajagiriya, Mattakkuliya, Colombo 14, Kalutara-South, Kattankudy, Colombo 12 and Bandaragama respectively while the 52-year-old male was a prisoner at the Welikada Prison.
