Drug kingpin Wasantha Mendis who was arrested in Thailand a few days ago was brought to Sri Lanka today and was taken into custody by the Police Narcotic Bureau at the Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake.

Police said the arrested would be produced in the Negombo Magistrate’s Court to obtain a detention order.
