An injured girl was rushed to hospital when a digital screen erected at the Yovun Pura Exhibition at Sigiriya fell on her last afternoon.
The organizers of Yovun pura said the girl had sustained serious injuries to her limbs and spine and she was seen in a state of shock.
The girl was rushed to the medical centre within the Yovun Pura site initially and later she was transferred to the Dambulla Hospital, according to the sources. (Yohan Perera and Kanchana Kumara Ariyadasa)

Everybody should note that this isn't a political event. This is just a youth camp where youth from all over the country gather and get to know each other while doing various activities. It's really unfortunate these kinds of incidents happen and I really hope and pray the speedy recovery for her...

Accidents can occur anywhere at any time. The contractor who fixed the digital screen should take the blame and pay compensation to the injured girl for not fixing it properly.
