Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinge today assured that all development projects in Anuradhapura District would be conducted without any damage to national heritage sites in the area.

The Prime Minister gave this assurance when he visited the Thanthirimale Raja Maha Viharaya where he had discussions with the Chief Incumbent of the temple this morning.

“About 500 acres will be allocated for those who will be relocated due to the development projects in the area and they will be given the opportunity to choose lands on their own from the allocated lands" he said. (Yohan Perera and Athula Bandara)
