The Inland Revenue Department announced that no penalities would be imposed for persons who have failed to file the Return of Income for the year 2019/2020.
The Department has arrived at this decision after taking into current Covid-19 related constraints and difficulties experienced by people.
Meanwhile, the Department has also taken measures to extend the deadline to file Return of Income for the year 2019/2020 until February 28, 2021.
