Maharagama Police had conducted inquiries into a complaint that veteran dancing teacher Kulasiri Budawatta had assaulted a mentally challenged woman.
The woman, age 33, had been learning to dance under his tutelage for ten years. Her relations had complained to the police that he had assaulted her because she had failed to perform properly.
Maharagama Police said they had recorded a statement from Mr. Budawatte. Police had later referred the matter to a Nugegoda court. It had later been referred back to a mediation board for settlement. (Indika Ramanayake)

No, no, that's the latest dancing style of Kulasiri. Hit while dancing, this is called 'Kulasiri-Samba'.

This sounds a bit odd. It took him 10yrs to realize that she "failed to perform properly" ? If this is true then he is not fit to teach anything. Let's not come to conclusions before the inquiry is over. It's only one side of the story.
