Catholic Schools to close if Coronavirus becomes acute: Cardinal

Addressing a media conference yesterday, the Archbishop of Colombo Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith stated that in the event the spread of the Corona Virus becomes uncontrollable all schools that are administered by the Catholic Church would remain closed. (Yohan Perera)

    Cardinal needs to keep his authority within the pulpits and let the government and the authorities to run this government. We have the monks in politics and now the Cardinal is pushing the Catholic Clergy into politics

    how about the schools belonging to other domination? Furthermore you should not name schools according to religion or race, but this petty mindset will never leave SL and is the cause for our backwardness.
