Governor's role is mainly ceremonial in the Westminster style of governance. However, the Chief Minister should have the courtesy to keep the Governor informed of all happening to maintain cordial relationship. This is not happening due to egoistic tendencies of both, resulting in bad governance in the North. People need to wake up.

Only in dictatorship you have to report when you leave or in a communist country. Moreover why should an elected leader be compelled to report to an unelected body? I am confused. There is something not right yet in the country.

Governors don't care as they are all running parallel administration in all the provinces disregarding the elected representatives.

He was elected to power by the people. The Governor is just a puppet of the state government.

WHO cares. If he is in or out it won't make a difference since he has done nothing as chief minister except talking old politics.

I am sure government would take strict action against CM's irresponsible act and he will be called for explanation immediately by the government. sometimes he mayl loose his position.
