The toll of COVID-19 recoveries in the country surpassed 2,000 today with the latest 13 patients who were discharged from hospitals, the Epidemiology Unit said.
Accordingly, the total recoveries were at 2,001 as of 10.00 am today.
The total number of COVID-19 patients being treated at Hospitals islandwide reduced to 653 from 664.
Meanwhile, the total recoveries of the Navy cluster surged to 899 today with one more navy personnel recovering from COVID-19.
Further, the discharged patients were instructed to undergo another 14-day quarantine adhering to health precautions.
According to the Epidemiology Unit, the COVID-19 cases in Sri Lanka are now at 2,665. (Sheain Fernandopulle)
