COVID-19 death toll crosses 300

The number of COVID-19 deaths reported in the country today surpassed 300 mark with eight more deaths being confirmed by the Health Services Director General.

Accordingly, the death toll stands at 305.

A 65-year-old male from Kolonnawa, a 67-year-old female from Panadura, a 58-year-old male from Galle, a 90-year-old female from Kalutara, an 80-year-old male from Moratuwa, a 43-year-old female from Piliyandala, a 63-year-old male from Saindamarudu and a 66-year-old female from Ratnapura are among the deceased.
