The CID today informed court that investigation in to the alleged illegal possession of an elephant by Ven. Uduwe Dhammaloka Thera at Alan Mathiniyaramaya temple in Kirulapone had been concluded and the extracts sent to the Attorney General’s Department.
The CID informed Colombo Additional Magistrate Nishantha Peiris that they were awaiting the Attorney General’s advice on the matter.
The case was postponed for July 9. (T. Farook Thajudeen)
