Body of missing youth found after 4 days

The body of the youth who was missing since Wednesday (20) was discovered in a river in Maskeliya last evening.

The 15 year old student, Chandran Vinodan, a resident of Maradana was reported missing when he visited his relatives in Maskeliya for the New Year vacation.

Witnesses told the police that Vinodan had gone to the river with his friends for a bath.

The body was sent to the JMO of the Nawalapitiya Base Hospital. (Gamini Ilangathilake)
